Videos of our Thailand trip

A shrine to the Four-faced Buddha, which is apparently originally a Hindu deva.

The Four-faced Buddha in Bangkok, Thailand. (Find more about Buddha iconography here.)

It’s finally done! Find below a number of links to the videos we took during our trip to Thailand.

The videos were taken with a cheap Panasonic handheld miniDV camera, imported with a pricy JVC BR-DV600U tape deck, and compressed with h.264/48 kHz AAC/MPEG4 by Final Cut Pro on a Mac! I’m just learning this huge piece of software, so the edits are pretty simple.

Apologies for the camera operator’s (my) lack of experience; some of the video is a little shaky.
